[Bug / Issue] Userfield trims leading zeros

    Greetings,

May or may not be a bug.

I have a userfield for storing Zip Codes. "Single Line Text Box" -- but it trims leading zeros from foreign zip code (00622 becomes 622 for Puerto Rico).

Is there a setting or simple fix?

    Thanks.

    Bumping this. Still no solution?

I have narrowed it down to the 'forcetext' array.

How to add the other custom fields to the ['userfield']['forcetext'] array (in core/packages/vbforum/db/mysql/querydefs.php)?\

Update: I mean, how to use the API or a package to do that (rather than just hack the script).

Sorry, that this was missed. There is no solution for this at this time.

To change the existing Querydefs, you most likely need to hack the script. You cannot change these via the API as far as I am aware. I suggest creating an improvement request for this.

No worries. Things get missed. I forgot to follow up for months.

        Thanks for the info!
