Could be related to cookies? Does the browser accept cookies or is there any browser extension blocking the cookies?

What cookies does your browser have stored for your site? Do they match the cookie_prefix you have specified in your /core/includes/config.php file? Do the cookie prefixes in the /config.php and /core/includes/config.php match?
