I was trying to add google adsense to my vbulletin account, but had an issue while redirecting.

And also, do I need to insert html code into a HTML module for confirmation website?

The Google Adsense inside the vBulletin.com Member's Area only works with vBulletin 4. It does not work with vBulletin 5. With vBulletin 5, to use Ad Sense you would add the Ad Module to your page and copy your Adsense code into the edit box for the module.

You should put your site ownership metatag in the appropriate option under Settings -> Options -> Search Engine Tools.
