    groups, modifications and permissions !!

    Hello,

I have members fail to change their social groups.

    sometimes this message appears:
You cannot edit the info of the group.
other times no message appears but the changes are not applied after the click on (save changess)

this hits something with this message who appears in admin panel?

There was an issue prior to 5.4.0 where editing and saving a usergroup affected channel permissions for the "Groups" channel. Please click on the "Address" button to go to the Channel Permissions page and review the channel permissions for all usergroups on the "Groups" channel.

Usergroups need the Max Channels > 0, "Can Configure Channel", and "Can Create Channel" permissions to be able to use Blogs and Social Groups properly.

I tried putting (0) in the box (maximum channels) but do not take it, after saving I find the empty box. I tried other numbers but the problem is the same. I tried from the computer and the phone but the problem is always that.I tried writing in the box below the icon, the problem is the same

If you want the users to be able to use Blogs and Social Groups, the value must be larger than 0. Without a value, they cannot use that functionality.

Then there is a problem with your database. I don't know what without a support ticket where we can see the database. if you have a support contract, please open a ticket.

We can continue here because I do not have the right to support via ticket

You would have to purchase a support contract. I can't continue here because I can't get access to your database in an open forum.

Like I have said, we need a support contract and a ticket to access your database directly. We do not provide support via Private Messages.

Dear Wayne, since we went to vbulletin 5 we lost our subscriptions, we lost as a result there is no new content, we lost indexing in Google then loss of visits and click on the ads. I upgraded to vbulletin 5 in 2016 from that date I'm paying the server and other expenses from my pocket with zero return from the forum

I am trying to help you through the proper channels. Without the access required through a support ticket, I can't fix your site.

As for indexing, I don't see a sitemap XML link in your header. You should generate a Sitemap and submit that.
