Good morning. I am seeing a problem today in my 5.4.4 forum where I go to the first unread post in a thread, read it, then go to the topic list. The thread still shows as unread even though I just read the most recent post and nothing new was posted since.

Are you using the breadcrumb to go back to the topic list or pressing the back button in your browser? If you use the back button, the browser will most likely load the page from your local cache and read status will not always be updated.Translations provided by Google.

I noticed that when i reply to a thread it shows that there is unread content. That unread content is the post i just made, so whats up with that?
