Put it into debug mode, which should give you a more meaningful error, then post that error back in this thread.

    Instructions for debug mode:
Debug mode is useful for development purposes- it is required if you will be creating VB5 Modifications you intend to distribute for others to download. However it is also useful for trouble-shooting issues with your site as debug mode often provides more specific error messages when something goes wrong- as such if you are

Try re-upgrading again and make sure that your internet connection line is stable and there is no downtime during the upgrade

Your site is currently down as far as I can see. Have your hosting provider reset it. What is the error message from the debug mode? You can also see PHP errors in your error.log file. If this doesn't exist, then you need to ask your hosting provider.

If you have SSH access, I recommend using the command-line upgrade system. It is faster and more efficient. You can access it by going to the core/install directory in your terminal and typing:
        Code:
        php upgrade.php

You need to put Debug Mode as originally said. This will give you the exact error. the most likely error is that it cannot connect to the database. If you overwrite your old config.php file, then you would need to update the database information with your connection data.
