403 Forbidden You don't have permission to access /admincp/ on this server.

First time install. I get the above message and the forum looks like this:

My .htaccess looks like this in 'includes':

And the actual text like this:

    # Apache 2.2
    Order deny,allow
    Deny from all
    # Apache 2.4
    #Require all denied

    Any help?

    Cheers

You need to use the default .htaccess provided with the download package.

In a new installation it is named htaccess.txt to avoid overwriting established files on upgrade.

    Simply rename this to:

    .htaccess

Note the 'dot' at the start.

Two more simple questions Mark. Probably really obvious but missed it. Where do I go to replace/edit this script on the main page?

Also - I have allowed members to pick there own theme. however they are only offered 3 - I as Admin am offered around 11. Is there any way they can get offered more to choose from?

        Cheers

You can change the name of the "Forums" channel under Channel Management -> Channel Manager.

You can offer more styles by making sure they are selected under Styles -> Style Manager. Make sure to save at the bottom or your choices won't be written to the database.
