Locked out of my VB Admin Control Panel

    vBulletin 5.3.2

Long story short I was using a hosting company and after thinking about how much they charge for a new site , I wanted to change over to Vbulletin Cloud.
I believe they have changed all of the Passwords for any Administrator users so I can no longer loggin

I still have access to the cpanel because I'm paid up until Aug 15th, but I have no idea where to look to change the password
so my question is a 2 part one. Where would I look in the cpanel to change passwords ?

Or if I just move the site over to VB Cloud Now, will I be able to take care of all that then ?
I do own the domain and there would be no problems changing the DNS

    TIA

If you move to Cloud, we can update the Admin Access for you.

If you're not receiving emails from your site, the only way to reset a password is to do this...
    1. Register a new user, remember the name.
    2. Upload the /core/install directory to your server.
    3. Upload the tools.php file from your vBulletin/do_not_upload folder to the /core/install directory on your server.
    4. Load tools.php in your browser by visiting your vBulletin site with /core/install/tools.php at the end of the URL.
    5. Enter your Customer ID.
    6. Select "Restore Admin Access".
    7. Enter the name that you create in step 1.
    8. Rename /core/install/ to /core/install.bak/
    9. Login to your AdminCP using the user create in step 1.
    10. Go to Users -> Search For Users.
    11. Search for your old admin.
    12. Enter a new password into the password field.
    13. Save the password.
    14. Logout
    15. Login with the Old Admin.
    16. If everything works, delete /core/install.bak/ from your server.

      Thank you Wayne

I thought about it and since i was going to move to Cloud in the next 10 days, I will make the move at some point tonight instead
I'm sure there will be a timeframe that Cloud will need and might as well have VB do everything that I need.

But the information above is great to have.

      Thank you again
