          Both of those images above refer to vBulletin 5's Avatar.

          The Profile Picture was a feature in vBulletin 4 that provide a second image in the profile's header. Similar to Facebook's Cover Image. This functionality was not brought forward into vBulletin 5.

            Ok. so how to load image to be displayed as per attachments? how to turn on this display.

              You can upload an Avatar by visiting your Profile Page and hovering the mouse over the existing avatar.

                User has already uploaded an avatar. however it is not showing.


                under user profile - permission to display avatar is set to YES.

                kindly advise.
