Having a Channel (Forum) serve as a link

There used to be a way in vB 3.x to specify a forum and make it simply be a link to some other URL. Is this possible in vB 5.x? Thanks...

It's not but there is a tracker to have the feature added. We used to use it and really miss it in v5.

Any future plans to implement this? I'm also in the "I miss this feature from VB3" group. The tracker looks a little dusty...

I don't know if this will be implemented. I hope it will be. However, the only reason the tracker is still open is because of the number of votes.

I've created a workaround for this issue here: Creating a Redirect Channel - vBulletin Community Forum
