[Server Config] Using a subdomain - do I have to register it in the customer area

    Hello

I can't find an answer to this one by searching and it's a simple question.

I want to install my forum on a subdomain so perhaps on something like forum.mysite.com. I know I have to
create an A record in the DNS records for forum.mysite.com and then go to my server and in cPanel create a subdomain with the required records.

Do I have to add the subdomain in my customer account in the customer area on vbulletin.com or if I already have mysite.com registered there, will the software recognise forum.mysite.com as a licensed location?

Ideally, we would prefer the URL provided in the member's area lead directly to your forum. However, you are not required to register the sub-domain with us.
