problem in display old links

some times ago i manage some parts of forum and delete extra parts or merge some other parts together to sort the posts. also i moved such "deleted post from those parts " and "merged posts to another one" to another part.
now i found that when i create a post , this post will create with old address of parts (deleted ones or merged ones) in browser address bar.
why ?
why when a part is deleted , new posts/Links are creating with old Part address/Link?
i would appritiate any kind help

forexample i create a channel (Linux channel) and many sub-channel for it (like centos - ubuntu - debian - mint & ...)
in each sub channel i create some posts, forexample one of these post :

site.com/forums/linux/ubuntu/support/4393613-problem-in-install-ubuntu-18

after some days i decide to decrease sub channels. i rename "Debian" sub-channel to "Debian-base" and i moved all of posts form Debian , Ubuntu and Mint to new sub channel "Debian-base" and i delete those sub-chennels (Ubuntu and Mint) completely.
now when i open those posts, their url are in below form and not contain new sub channel:

site.com/forums/linux/ubuntu/support/4393613-problem-in-install-ubuntu-18

but it must be like :

site.com/forums/linux/debian-base-issiue/support/4393613-problem-in-install-ubuntu-18

i wana know , why post 's url are still contain old sub-channel and not new one?!!

I can't recreate this issue. Make sure you're running vBulletin 5.4.2 and when you rename a channel that you update its URL in Site Builder by editing the channel page. The channel name is not the same as the URL in the database. The page name is not the same as the URL in the database.

When you update the name of a channel and you want to make the URL match the new name, you need to visit that channel on the front-end and click "Edit Page". when you save you can update the URL. This is the only way to change the URL of a channel. Doing so also updates all of its childen.

When you move a topic to a new channel, it will inherit its new parent's URL. However, we create 301 redirects for every moved topic so its old URL works as well.

We will create a 301 redirect to the new location. Other than that, you'll need to discuss this with the search engines. I would suspect there will be a temporary effect on search results.
