Error submitting/testing xml site map to google webmasters search console

Does any one else experience this ?, each time you TEST a vbulletin sitemap on google webmasters search console you get the prompt “Tests complete! “
But then when you view the test results you get “Errors Empty Sitemap Your Sitemap does not contain any URLs. Please validate and resubmit your Sitemap. “ !
Even tried lowering number of URLS per page from 30,000 down and down until it reached 100 , still same result , according to google “Empty Sitemap”
Tried downloading it , indeed it was not empty , but according to google its empty

Any ideas ?

There are two bugs in Site Map Generation that cause it to fail when using PHP 7.2. These should be fixed in the next release. Until that time, you will need to use PHP 7.1 or lower.

tnx for the kind advice , we are already on php7.2 , so we will hope for the fix in next vB5 release, its difficult and risky to downgrade again to php7.1
on a side notion guess thats why its not such a good idea to be too fast in getting the very latest of php and apache , lesson learned , the hard way

by the way , any recommendations on how to fix the output sitemap then upload it again to ./store_sitemap ?
guess that should do the trick for now

There is currently no way to rebuild the sitemap under PHP 7.2. I don't have a patch for this functionality.
