When you create photos that way, you are creating a 'photo' content type.
This requires a minimum of one photo.

You can delete photos and add more, but you must have at least one photo present.

It's kind of disturbing of a user doesnt know this, since you can not know this in advance. At the end you have to either create a new topic or go with at least one picture within your post. In my opinion the user should be able to turn this photo post thing of when he did it wrong.

But of course, just my opinion

Thanks anyway for the answer Mark.

With "Share Photos" the content is the photos. Any text they add is option. It will even say that in the editor.

Yes sure, just a pity that you will have a big mess if you wrote a very long text and accidentally added a picture that way. Then you need to live with it or completely restart your topic.
It's fine, just realized that many of my users have trouble with this feature.

          Kind Regards!

Some features do take some getting used to if you come from v4 we found.

Our members had so much trouble with the photo post feature we turned it off and now photos are just added as attachments.

It's the same with the link posts, you can't delete the link out of it only change it or delete the whole thread.

It makes sense when you understand how these type of special posts work but drives you mad until you learn

I created this Feature Request a while back - https://tracker.vbulletin.com/vbulle...sues/VBV-17732

It hasn't received a lot of traction so I can't really push it up the ladder for inclusion.

Thanks Wayne, I don't see how to vote with this new tracker, it's not easy to view on a phone so I'll look later on desktop to see if I can find it.

In the upper right hand corner of the screen there is a green +

There is also a red minus but I can't quite understand why anyone would be downvoting issues or even allowed to do so.

Yes, thanks a lot. I like the bug tracker thing, but its also a bit confusing for me. It also has some design issues on my mobile (Android).

@Tiggywinkle, I like the idea of deactivating the photo post feature. Good idea! And yes, same trouble with links.

I've now looked on desktop but still cannot see how to vote. I can see a + - votes but nothing happens if I click on them.
