Go to the forum on your site. Click "Edit Page". Save the page, remove forum/ from the URL. Repeat for every forum.

You can only change the URL of a page from the front-end of your site. You cannot do it in the AdminCP.

Go to the FORUM you want to change. Click Edit Page in Site Builder.

No, the only way to do this is individually via the web interface.

As the error suggests, you are trying to change it to a URL already in use in the software.

today i found when i add "forum" phrase at the end of address (http://site-name.org/forums/forum), it will display main forum page. while i defined acording to above post to delete "forum" from the end.

in (http://site-name.org/forums/forum) url, when i deleted "forum" phrase and tick the "Make this page the homepage" option then i click on "Save Page", i see the following message :
                      PHP Code:
The page url cannot be empty. If you want to make this page the site homepageplease check the "Make this page the homepage" checkbox

Of course, this problem is only in (http://site-name.org/forums/forum) url, and in (http://site-name.org/forums) url don't problem.

The forum you are deleting refers to the name of a channel. You cannot delete this. You can give it a different name but that would probably be just as confusing in the long run.

If you make it the Homepage, then it won't show /forum/. You can only have one home page.
