Emails are not sending

What are the exact steps need to replicate the issue? Sending email does not use CkEditor anywhere in the system. CKEditor is only used by users creating content on the front-end. There should be no Javascript or JSON when sending email as that happens behind the scenes. We do not use Javascript in server side processing.

Also what is the JSON string that is causing the error? This should be viewable in the Network Tab of your browser's developer tools (javascript is only used in the browser) as well as the Console tab where the error is logged.

ok, i found this topic since I am not receiving any email notifications and I have user settings, notifications on. I presume that means an email when something is posted. Nothing. I did the easy start for forums but I'm thinking something is not setup on admin side. Thanks!

Exact same for me (vb 4.2.5)

PHP Mail works fine - sendgrid does not.

Sendgrid works with everything else I use it with.

It would be GREAT if vBulletin had an answer to this.

This is the vBulletin 5 forum, so nothing in here applies to vBulletin 4.

It should be noted that Sendgrid works fine in vBulletin 5.X. It is the SMTP provider that we use with every vBulletin Cloud site.
