possible to disable a channel from being searched?

Hi,

with vb4, it was possible to configure a particular forum to be index and search by various groups of users.

however, in vb5, the option to configure a particular forum to be search is not available under channel permissions.

like to know if the configuring of search to be limited to which group of users is available and if yes where to configure as can't locate it in AdminCP

This is not a function in vBulletin 5. The search system is integral to even viewing the contents of a forum. If users couldn't search within a channel, they wouldn't be able to see its contents. If you want to prevent users from seeing content in a channel, use the various "Can View" permissions.
