[Bug / Issue] A System Error has occured.

Hi, I've recently done a test upgrade from 4.2.5 to 5.4.1 but am unable to load the forum's home page (AdminCP can be accessed fine). I receive the following error message:

    A System Error has occured.

The software is experiencing a systems error.

You should attempt to repeat your last action. If this error occurs again, please contact the site administrator.

This error is usually triggered when vBulletin cannot connect to the database. This can be because the password on the database changed or the MySQL server isn't accepting connections for some reason. You need to contact your hosting provider to ask what changed with the server and to check the status of your database.

My host said it was because I didn't disable my plugins before the upgrade. The home page is working now.
