There is a jira put in for this no time scale set as yet jira found here https://tracker.vbulletin.com/vbulle...sues/VBV-16956 -
There is currently no way to do this without just entering in multiple topics. It is one of the issues with all content types being treated the same. One of the questions is what happens to the discussion on an event that repeats regularly? Another is how to make an old event appear new so it appears in the search engine as the recurrence becomes clearer.Translations provided by Google.

Perhaps have it as x or y scenario... either you can repeat (monthly, annually, etc.) but cannot use the thread/node for any replies and it becomes only editable to admins/creators -
Or, you can leave it open to replies & edits, but can't repeat... A tickbox or a switch could control it

by m97forumHello,
I'm able to create an event to be added to the vB-5.3.3 calendar. Now: how do I create a reoccurring event?
Thanks.
