vB5 - How to create Link Forum , Preview after writing a post

Hello,

our forum currently running on vB 4.2.5., but we want be ready to upgrade onto vB5.. This is the reason, why we testing vB 5.4.0. and we have the following questions:

1. How to create Link Forum ? This function is mentioned in the manual,(Link Forum – this really is not a forum at all. It is just a link to another web page; it could be another forum, or it could be an entirely different site.), but in admincp when creating forum is not available. In older versions (vB3 and vB4) it was fully function.

In Site Builder>Edit Page... it can not be set - error message is appear.


2. When I click to preview after writing a post, it open only at small window:


Is possible to setup it so, as it worked at previous versions ? The default preview as is now does not suit us - it is a great disappointment for us in vB5.

You can't create a channel to link to another URL in vBulletin 5. You can achieve similar functionality by creating a Static HTML Module on the page and placing your links in that module.

Write a longer post and your preview window will be larger. This is how the system is designed.

There is a feature request for this but as it's been around since 2012 I don't hold out much hope.

we started with vB3, now we have vB4.2.5. I tested the upgrade to vB5, but the result was very unsatisfactory due to the great differences. That's why I'm testing a clean vB5 installation that I'm editing for our forum.
Unfortunately, we are quite disappointed. If some of the vB5 features are removed, such as creating a link forum, it should be listed in the manual. Including instructions on how to do it in a substitute way. I'm not a developer, but a user
As long as PHP5.6 is available on our hosting, we will probably remain with vB4.
