    Can't change password for anyone

I am unable to change the password for my account or anyone else's account on my forum. When I try to do it in my admincp I get a blank page after I try to do it. When I use the forgot password feature, I get the link but I get an 500 server error when I change the password to what I want it to be. I opened a ticket 1659741

You have to purchase a support contract for your tickets to be looked at.

Blank pages are indicative of PHP errors. A 500 server error can be a PHP error as well. Putting the site in Debug mode may expose these errors.

That doesn't actually provide any information on the error. What does the screen say above when you would have received the 500 server error?

What does the blank page in the AdminCP say after turning this on?

When I try to change it in the admincp I get this screen after I click save. When I use the forgot password link everything works until I change the password. When I click OK I get the error.

Debug mode should put the error on the screen. If it does not, then you need to get the error from your server's error logs. Your hosting provider can help you retrieve your server's error logs. Without the error, we cannot provide a solution.

The problem was a simple one. My php version 5.5 instead of 5.6.
