    Make a thread global

Is there a way to make certain threads global in vbulletin 5? I had this setup in 4 but don't see a way in 5?

There is no global threads facility in either vB4 or vB5. You can however use announcements. In vB4 these show up like a thread, in vB5 they look more like a notice. The options are in the same place in the admincp though, so I suspect you had a third party add on for vB4.

Yes, had a third party VB4 app. Have a few threads that I would like displayed at the top of all channels.

You can mark topics as "Featured" and drag a Content Slider module to the top of your channel page. It will show all topics that are marked as featured by default.

You can see an example at https://forums.rabidbadger.io

Thanks for the info Wayne. Ended up adding a search module at the top of the channel page. Have it pointed to the global channel that contains all the posts I wanted at the top of each channel.

The search module is also a great solution.
