Search indexing not working with French

Hi all,

I'm having a forum with vBulletin in French. When users are posting words with French accents (e.g. approuvé) they aren't added correctly to the word index (words table in DB). Instead of "approuvé" the word "approuv?" is added.

Is there a setting for that? The collation of the words table is "latin1_swedish_ci". Maybe this is creating issues.
