Hello ,
I recently upgraded my vbulletin 4.1.5 version to the vbulletin 5.3.4 version.
I have an issue and a question.
The question is if I upgraded corectly the vbulletin to the 5.3.4 version? I backuped my database (if on upgrade i have errors , but it was okay) after i deleted all my old files and uploaded to the public_html just the vbulletin 5 files. After configured the configs with the old vb 4.1.5 database details and i start the upgrade.
All work fine on upgrade but i want to know exactly if i did it corectly?
And the issue apeared after upgrade was finished. In admincp all seems to work fine but in the forum the default style and all vb 5 styles doesen't show up correctly.
This is how show up:
And after this i search for it and i found a solution but i don't know it's okay ( i run the "rebuild search index script" ).
The solution is to activate the Store CSS Stylesheets as Files? option from the Style & Language settings, but i don't know if this is okay and that's why i make this topic to make sure everything is okay and i don't have future problem.
If i activate this option the forum will show up corectly like this .
I can fix the style problem in another way? Or it's okay to run the Store CSS Stylesheets as Files? option?
Thank you !
