    Migrating data into vB5

We've just purchased vB5 and we're working toward migrating data from our custom forum (completely custom built on the Code Igniter framework). I wanted to find out if there was any kind of XML/CSV/etc template we could work toward exporting the data into for a seamless import into vB5? Ideally, this information could be broken down by user/forum information, user/group information, etc. If there is no API/XML export/import options, what are our best, most efficient options for exporting/importing data into vBulletin? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Download Impex and look if you could modify any forum module for your needs, so it works with your custom-coded forum. Then install a fresh vB4 and migrate. This one could updated with vB5.
Don't know how internetbrand want to get new customers without any import system... but right now there is no other or easier way.

You could try to import the data with csv/ xml or direct about a database-script....but most times it will output garbage data and errors.

Thanks for this information. While we ended up not even using Impex, Impex did give our team the insight we needed to implement this manually. Thanks for the prompt response and assistance.
