    Mail messages and notifications do not reach members

    hi,

    I noticed that forum email messages do not reach members when:

    1-when they contact us through "contact us" no email arrives.
    2- when a member is tagged, the notification does not arrive in the forum or via email

    instead :

    1-when a private message arrives, the notification arrives via email
    2-when someone writes an answer in my topic the notification arrives in email and also in the forum
    3-When someone quote a topic, the notification arrives in both forums and emails


    in the notification settings, all active

    Are you using SMTP?

    What does your mail server say about these emails?

    Is your contact us email set to a proper email address?

    User Mention Notifications are separate and need to be enabled by each user under Settings -> Notifications. They work properly in my experience.

    Private message notification is a user settings.

    Whether you get a notification via email and/or the forum is a user setting. This applies to all notifications that the user wishes to receive.

      the email configured perfectly. see the test above, and also in the video screen. then the notifications of the reply private message and quoting,they arrive at the email, so we can not say that an email configuration problem

      the notification of the mention does not arrive even in the forum, so there are some problems. See the video screen

          The diagnostic doesn't answer my specific questions. Unfortunately, I don't know why your email isn't working even though your diagnostics are. Could be the recipient server is blocking it for dozens of different reasons which why I asked the questions I specifically asked.

              hello,

              all notifications arrive via e-mail, except the mention,
              the mention does not even arrive in the forum.

              for questions concerning the configuration of the email you will reply as soon as possible
