    vBulletin Subscription Invalid %1$s specified.

    Hello there,

vB version: vB5 Connect 5.3.2 Patch Level 1

    PHP 7.1.7
PHP Max Post Size 128.00 MB
PHP Maximum Upload Size 128.00 MB
    PHP Memory Limit 512.00 MB
    MySQL Version 5.5.52-cll
    MySQL Packet Size 256.00 MB

I have setup some subscriptions on my vBulletin 5 Connect forum and whenever a new member registers on the forum, they get an option to pay for subscription. However, when anyone tries to pay for the subscription (Paypal), they see this error on hitting the Submit button:

    Code:
Invalid %1$s specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the [URL="http://www.indianvapers.com/%2%24s"]administrator[/URL] (invalidid)
    Screenshot:

When hit OK, it comes down to this screen and stays there forever ...

If I click Order, it does nothing. If I click Cancel, it goes to the screen where it says thank you for registering, your account is registered and you will get an email etc etc. The account gets created but no subscription is setup.

I don't have too many mods installed .. just Tapatalk and the Likes Summary mods are activated.

Would appreciate if anyone can guide me what could be causing this error. Would appreciate your help a lot.

    Thanks!

Go into the AdminCP under Paid Subscriptions -> Subscription Permissions. Set the permissions for the Subscription that you created so they can be seen by the Unregistered / Not Logged In usergroup.

Spot on Wayne! Thank you so much!

The permissions were enabled for all but "users awaiting email confirmation" .. what a blunder mistake :/

Lesson learnt, lost a few subscriptions because of my stupid mistake.

Thanks for the help, appreciate it a lot!

        Regards.

It wasn't your fault. It is a bug in the software that causes that. If you add new subscriptions, be sure to check their permissions.
