Private Message: text/body not displaying on custom style.

The PM system is working. All testing shows the data is stored in the database.

At first, I can view a PM thread, all is well.

Send reply. Page refreshes, text/body of all PM message not visible (not hidden, I checked the source HTML).

If I clear the cache, it works (but not always). And, if another PM is sent, then message text disappears again.

Important note: this is Style specific. If the custom style is active, the issue is revealed. If I set the style to the Default vB5 Theme, everything works fine.

So, is there any way to determine what is effecting that?

I have checked all the customizations in the templates and found nothing that would effect this.

Update. I may have solved this.

I found that vB5 has Special->Private Messages listed in Channel Permissions.

In some groups, the "Can View Channels" was set to No.

Seems to be working now.
