No nothing has been done at this time.
This sounds server related in some way to be honest.
It may be worth asking the hosts for logs from a specific time when this happens.

As an aside, hosts saying "it's definitely nothing our side" is generally worthless.

I understand. But if I toggle between two different accounts the issue only is with my admin account. I checked and have no subscriptions ect. I mean if it is server related I would think this issue would rears its head with all accounts regardless? By the way I tested my admin account using Chrome and Firefox with all addons disabled.

After trying a few normal tricks, this turned out to be a huge searchlog table, perhaps due to the DDoS. Once emptied posting speed vastly improved.

Very much appreciated. Your staff has always resolved my ticket issues. Question, is there something I can do in the future if this occurs again? Is it as simple as running a query? Is there an auto or cron job that can be created to clear out this table like once a week?

The query to run is: TRUNCATE searchlog but as I said in the followup short of another DDoS this shouldn't happen again. If it does further investigation may be necessary.
