    Error in the Ad Module

    Hello,

    With reference to this post:
Hi, I'm trying to add ads via adsense to my website. I've signed up to Adsense and been approved with the HTML code ready to go. I have gone to Site Builder > Edit Page on my website and added an Ad

I am unable to add Ad Module. Every time I try to add it, and click on config ad, error 0 appears. My vBulletin version is vBulletin 5.3.2 Patch Level 1

Is there any quick fix for this?

Run the route fix tool in the tools.php file. You'll find this file in the do_not_upload directory of your download package. Upload it to /core/admincp. You will also need to upload /core/install to your server. Once done, delete the /core/install directory and the tools.php file from the server.

Still having the same problem. I ran the tool that you've asked.

Run the route fix tool on the same tools.php file.

As to why you're getting Error 0? We don't know. You have provided no information to help us determine that. Running the Route Fix tool resolves the error on the site you referred to. If you follow the instructions in https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/foru...swered-quickly then we can start troubleshooting the issue.

                    Here is an update:
I have just discovered that all of the modules act the same way. I've tired adding PHP and HTML modules and they do the same thing. They don't save. So the problem is in the module system.

I tried playing around a little bit and here is what I did.
                    1. I added an Ad Module.
                    2. I saved the page without changing anything.
                    3. I went back to edit the page and clicked edit on the Ad Module that I have added.
                    4. I clicked Config Ad and the configuration opened.
                    5. I added my ad information and then clicked save and this error showed:

Please put your site in debug mode. What is the other information shown now?

Debug mode is useful for development purposes- it is required if you will be creating VB5 Modifications you intend to distribute for others to download. However it is also useful for trouble-shooting issues with your site as debug mode often provides more specific error messages when something goes wrong- as such if you are

There should be more information in the error message. That is more important. The information on the bottom of the page is only useful for the developers but not in tracking this type of bug.

As you currently have access to Ticket Support, you'll have to submit a ticket with FTP, Database and AdminCP access, in English. The link to submit a ticket is in the footer of this page.

This is the solution! When I deactivate the adblocker the ad-module open and no error occures..

Thanks a lot. This was valuable information. However, U am still getting the "Error information: " 404 error Not Found" problem after disabling the adblocker.
