    Missing settings, probably due to upgraded forum

    I noticed some options are missing in my vB 5.3.0, and I guess that could be due to an update from a previous 3.8.0.

    Here's what I see for "Topic Display Options":

    Some options were removed in vBulletin 5. There is no way to get them back.

    Which options were you specifically looking for? There may be other ways to do what you want, or they may have moved

      Mostly I'm looking for "Maximum Displayed Posts Before Page Split" and similar options on how many threads should be listed in a forum. As a user I can put "Use Forum Default" but I can't find where to set it, and I expected it to be there after reading the manual.

        Post per page is controlled in site builder in the front end.

        On any forum page;
        Edit Site > edit the Activity module.

          I see. I found it and it worked, thank you! I do find it odd however that the documentation does not mention this at all, even though it states that it is written for 5.3.0, the version I am running.

            There are still settings and setting descriptions that refer back to vB4, these are gradually being removed over time.

              This option is still valid and will override the settings of the module if the user changes the value on the /settings/account page.
