prune subscriptions for old users

Hi,

I have a lot of "undeliverable" mails, mostly because of susbcriptions of ole users that may or may not still be visiting the site.

Is there any way to :
- remove all subscriptions for a specific lost of users
- remove all subscriptions for users that have not visited the site for xx years/months.
- remove all subscriptions period. (but still let users create new ones after that).

Sorry, there is no function to do this. This would require custom code/database queries. You can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

And is there a way to just delete users based on an list of mail adresses (csv or equivalent) ? (or to move them to a user group for exemple).

You can get a list of users that haven't logged in for XXX days in the AdminCP under Move / Prune Users. This search is by usergroup and you can delete or move the users to another usergroup.

If you search by the bounced email address under Users -> Search for Users, you can prune that user's subscriptions on the Quick Links dropdown. No way to do it automatically.

That is what i have been doing but the birhtday mails are still going out, and i had around 200 of them in the bgeinning so it was kind of boring.
I have around 20 a day now so i will keep doing so i guess.

Birthday emails are not "Notifications" and are not controlled by subscriptions. It is a different system. If you want to stop Birthday Emails, you either have to remove the user's birthdate in their profile or turn off the Scheduled Task that sends the emails.
