"Channel Description" design

Hey, I have a problem with the "channel description" widget.
It is absolutely unformatted and doesnt have any "title" bar on the top.
Is this normal? How can i change this so that it looks similar like all the other widgets with a description bar and so one?

Edit the module via SiteBuilder and post a screenshot of that module's settings.

there are no settings except the size available.
its the standard "channel description" widget

My guess is that the Channel Description module was designed to be put under the Channel Name (Page Title Module) wherein module title is not needed.

Glenn is correct. There is a separate Page Title widget that would show the title of the Channel. This is designed to be added under it.


If you feel additional options are needed, then you would need to create a JIRA for these changes.
