how to disable visitor messages on vBulletin

    Dear Sirs,

How can I disable Visitor messages from my vBulletin installation. I don't want users to post any visitor messages. I can't find the option to disable visitor messages completely from vBulletin 5.2.4.

Thanks a lot for your time and support.

    Regards,
    Alfonso

AdminCP > Usergroups > Usergroup Manager

Go through each usergroup and look for:
    Visitor Message Permissions

Set everything except the final option in that block to 'No'.
    Save the page.

      Dear Mark.B

I have the same problem with visitor messages. Members keep on posting visitor messages and I've disabled them in all usergroups, see attachment.

No matter what I do, members keep on posting visitor messages. I even disabled them on the admin group (myself). How can I disable them? I am using vBulletin 5.2.4

      Thanks in advance

vBulletin 5.2.4 is no longer supported. After you upgrade to vBulletin 5.3.3, does the problem still happen?
