"Error saving the forums" when using the channel manager

I just upgradet my vb license up to connect 5 and updated my forum from vb 4 (following the instructions).

Unfortunately I am running into some different problems:

    1) Opening the "quick setup" options doesnt work with Internet Explorer and chrome browser (different error messages, see screenshots attached).
    It only works with Firefox.

    2) By using the "quick setup" with Firefox browser, it is not possible to save anything in the "channel manager". I couldnt find any help regarding similar issues von vbulletin.com

    Can anyone help me?

    1. vBulletin Version = 5.2.5
    2. PHP Version = 7.1
    3. MySQL Version = 5.7
    4. Any Addons installed = no, hooks currently also disabled
    5. Does the issue occur in a default style? = yes
    6. Does the issue occur using the English language provided? = yes
    7. Error message on the screen' = see screenshot
    8. Browser and Browser version used. = current firefox, chrome and IE
    9. Did you clear the browser cache and did the error continue? = yes
    10. A list of steps that can be used to recreate the issue. = just using the "quick setup" in my board

Update: Problem 1) occurs only by missing the "www" in front of the web adress. What can I do to prevent this issue in the future?
Problem 2) occurs now in the same manner for all browsers.

      1. Add a redirect in htaccess. Google it and you will find a lot of resources on it.

      2. Not sure what's wrong but yiu can also do the same in the Channel Manager in AdminCP.

Run the two cache clearing queries:

        TRUNCATE TABLE cache
        TRUNCATE TABLE cacheevent

NOTE: Do not run truncate queries on any other table, you will break your site.

@ Glenn: Thanks, i did it!

@ Mark, nope, sorry, that didnt bring any difference. Still the same issue
I guess there are some other things not going quite well in my board...

I also receive an error by trying to upload a logo. No idea where this comes from.

Does the channel manager save correctly if you do it in the admincp?

We really need a support ticket so we can look into your setup in more detail.

Please include a link to this thread, and also admincp and ftp credentials.
