Need help - Can't create group category!

    Hi,

For our forum group with url https://www.fanschats.com/fan-clubs hosted with vb cloud, whenever a new category is created, the category cannot be accessed, the url will become i.e. https://www.fanschats.com/#/technology-science and https://www.fanschats.com/#/beauty-fashion-aa (please check the group categories navigation located on the right side of group home page).

Previously these group categories can be created with accessible url, but now the newly created groups have the # so the page is basically inaccessible, and we also cannot use the admin edit page feature to change the url as going to the link will just navigate to home page because of the # in the url.

This is most probably due to we changed the "social-groups" url to "fan-clubs" url for the group tab (both the edit page url and navigation bar url), and now new category will have # as the group url, and the breadcrumb url for group home is now # instead of http://www.fanschats.com/fan-clubs

We can neither create new group categories nor move our existing groups to the new group categories now. Really need help on this as group categories are very essential for us. Really appreciate if any helps can be done on this issue. Thanks a lot.

*** some additional issues from this similar problem ***
Clicking on the "+ New Group" button will also lead to this error "Invalid value '' for parameter $nodeid in method vB_Api_Content_Channel::canAddChannel "

Also, accessing page 2 of the group i.e. https://www.fanschats.com/fan-clubs/page2 will lead to page error (as the url to access we guess is https://www.fanschats.com/#/page2 which is inaccessible).

Your issue should be resolved now. (I started a ticket for you to let you know, but never heard back from you.)

Ah, I apologize for bringing up this topic again, all of the problems has been solved previously, but the following errors appear again out of nowhere:

            - Clicking on the "+ New Group" button will also lead to this error "Invalid value '' for parameter $nodeid in method vB_Api_Content_Channel::canAddChannel "

How to solve this same issue again? Thanks a lot for the help.

Group Categories are made in the AdminCP using the Channel Manager.

Posts 6 and 7 are unrelated to the original topic. You need to create your own topic for your issues. There isn't enough information provided in either post to provide a solution.
