    '[] operator not supported for strings' (unexpected_error)

    ive seen this error pop up a few times lately...does anyone know the solution?

    i got it when trying to edit a post with an image in it.....im also having another issue with the click and drag resizing...if i resize an image with click and drag, then click source code, then save or toggle back, it strips some of the data out and breaks the image instead leaving a line of text like>>

    Code:
    {"alt":"Click image for larger version Name:\timage_793.jpg Views:\t1 Size:\t404.1 KB ID:\t1882","data-align":"none","data-attachmentid":"1882","data-size":"custom","height":"448","width":"597"}
    i tried to recreate this on vb.com but things work fine here

        Would you mind logging it? http://tracker.vbulletin.com/secure/...91&issuetype=1

        Just worry about the Summary (title), Description (description of the issue), and in Environment put in your PHP info and other server details.

        Thank you.

              The problem is most likely PHP 7.1. There are some string handling issues with vBulletin in this version of PHP. We hope to get them fixed soon. Can you see if you have the same issue with PHP 7.0.X?

                I took another look at this and noticed it was reported against 5.2.4. I can reproduce on that version but not 5.2.5 or the current dev build. I believe this was fixed.
