    Visitor Messages huge issue

We are VB customers almost 10 years.
VB5 has given us hard times. We have updated from VB4 almost 2 years ago and we have been facing terrible bugs, lost lots of members.

Lots of things we are fixing ourselves. We still have open tickets...a year old.

This time I need your help with Visitor Messages.

We do get a Notification when we receive a Visitor message

but when we click in the actual link, a browser error pops up :

Do you see the visitor message if you go straight to your profile and view from there?

I can see them inside my Profile BUT this is not practical since I need to Filter the Activity which is sci-fi for most users Click image for larger versionName:	Views:	1Size:	163.2 KBID:	4361547

In looking at the URL for the message, I am guessing this is an issue with your charset. What is your database collation and your server charset? What do you have set in admincp > Languages & Phrases > Language Manager > edit the language you are using, what is listed for HTML Character Set?

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

          Thank you Lynne

We are on ISO-8859-7 (since the VB3 days that UTF was not an option)

Numerous times we have tried to migrate to UTF-8 but everytime without success

I cannot understand why a non-UTF8 VB should face issues with links and such

          Any help GREATLY appreciated!
