Did you change the cookie path in the AdminCP?

You change it to whatever you set the cookie path to in your config.php file.

Wait, let's row this back a few steps. Cookie PREFIX is set in config.php, not cookie path. Two entirely different things.

Right, first thing....if the forum URL is different, was this changed in the settings in the admincp first?

Did you have a cookie domain set in your admincp > settings and did you clear it before moving to the new URL? Did you change the URLs in the admincp or did you change them directly in the database? Have you tried uploading the tools.php file to your admincp (and also reuploading your /install directory) and then resetting the cookie domain?

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

Lynn mentions it in here post:

So upload tools.php from the 'do not upload' folder, this goes in /core/admincp/
Then upload the /install/ folder to /core/
Then run /admincp/tools.php and choose the option to reset the cookie domain.
