    Slow forum

    Hi. I would like to ask , why my forum is so slow? Any suggestions that I can make it faster?

      This is an impossible question to answer. The most common reason a site is slow is a badly configured server, and the answer is to get the server better configured, or find a better host.
      Beyond that common causes include slow add-ons and badly configured options (for example, setting threads to display huge numbers of posts per page).

      There is no magic button to press that says 'speed my forum up' - much as it would be nice.

          If you are on a VPS or dedicated server I would advise that you request server optimization help by starting a thread in the Server Configuration forum supplying the information requested in this thread:

          Vote for:

          - Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe (vB6)
          - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)
