I've noticed that when embedding tweets and YouTube videos, users on my site must manually select HTML On for the content to embed properly. Many people forget to do this and their posts end up looking ridiculous. Is there a way to force HTML On as the default for a new post?
HTML On - Convert Linebreaks - On By Default

Why not use this to auto embed videos: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=288954
And this for tweets: http://vbmods.rocks/forum/vbulletin-...2-tweet-bbcode
That way you can disable html.
Just giving you some options,

Thanks for the suggestion, but the reason I can't/don't use that is because of this:
Videos embedded on my site work fine but always show like this: {"data-align":"none","data-size":"custom","data-tempid":"temp_68573_1477708704826_217"
Now, if you can help me figure that out I would definitely be happy to return to using that mod.

You should not have html enabled for ordinary users - this is a serious security risk.
Users should use BBCode to format posts.MARK.B

What Mark said. Users could post malicious scripts if HTML is enabled. Google for XSS to find out more info.Comment
