You can try running the upgrade again...especially now 5.2.4 is out, you can try upgrading to that.

If Messenger still doesn't work, we will need some details on what is happening (or not).

I upgraded to 5.2.4 and as expected vBulletin Messenger still doesn't work. What information do you need?

We need full details on the issue..."it doesn't work" doesn't tell us anything about the problem so it's impossible to suggest a solution.

What exactly happens when you try to use Messenger? Any error messages? Does it load at all? Screenshot may help. It depends on the issue.

I have an idea what the issue might be but we need the details.
