Hit refresh during upgrade?

Hi all,

I made a backup of my 4.2.3 forum and running the upgrade to 5.2.3. The upgrade process is currently stuck at 'Processing 5.0.0 Beta 18, Step 2 of 6' for several hours. Can I simply refresh the page to continue the upgrade without any (future) issues or do I need to start all over again?
