    Forum/Channel Setup

    Fresh install 5.2.3
I will be setting up my forums/channels and was comparing the layout to this forum. I am seeing some differences right out of the box. Is there supposed to be a header I am not seeing?
First image is my fresh install, second is this forum. Thanks!

Create a category channel first and then forum channel under it. When creating a channel, select No in the "Act as Channel (Will act as category if no)" radio button field. It is set to Yes by default.

Glenn's right, unfortunately out of the box vB5 doesn't include a default category. When I do paid installs for people I always create one, it just explains the structure visually and makes it obvious how to proceed.
