    Hello,

    A few times recently, customers on our forum have been presented with "Sorry, the registration has been disabled by administrator".

    In some cases, it seems to be when they sign up for the forum, but do not click the activation link in their email. Sometimes however it seems to be if they choose an email address or a username which has already been used before. But it is not at all clear when this message is presented to them.

    Can someone tell me what it actually means and when it can come up?

      Can you replicate the issue?

      As an example...create an account via the front end, then try to sign up an account via the front end with a different name but the same email address. Is that the error you get?

      The error specified should only be showing up if registration is actually disabled, so any other scenario might be a bug.
