Shutting Down of Forum

Hi,

I'm shutting down my forum, will I be able to use the forum again, says after 1 year?

Assuming that I have save all the files (including the database)

how does it works?

If you backup your entire content, there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to use your backup in a year. It will be the same procedure like now, when you use your backup e.g. after an upgrade that has gone wrong.

The license you have is for the life of the product, so you'll always be able to reopen either a back-up of your current site OR use it for a fresh, new site (remember to do away completely with the old one though as you can only use it for one or the other).

Even in ten years you'll be able to re-download the software from here but you will be limited by the license to download ONLY the version (and below) you paid/are licensed for.
