Vbulletin 5.2.2 Profile Views, Recent Visitors, Rank Photos, and More

Hi Vbulletin! Glad to find this site to ask for help, I need it! I should start by mentioning that I am really enjoying my upgraded version of Vbulletin.

On member profile pages, I used to be able to see most recent visitors and total profile views. How can I re-enable this as it is useful to my site(particularly profile views). Also, on the profile page, my rank photo is not appearing, Attached photo #1. Additionally on my basic information portion of my profile, where my members filled in their website url is now just an url, without a clickable link. Can I change this to enable a clickable link again? In fact, the clickable website link used to be in the same block as my picture and location info (also in attached photo), which was really perfect, I think that block is a called a postbit, but I am not super confident about that.

On forum thread pages, my rank photo is appearing with a 2nd mystery rank photo (also attached a photo of this for you to view). Under my photo in the forum thread, it used to show my location, have a link to my business website, and my linkedin profile. I am wondering if anyone knows how I can change the info that shows up in this block to be similar to what it was before my recent upgrade to vb 5.2.2. I know these items that will matter to my members.

Additionally, when members go to create a new Forum Post, the post icons do not appear. I can see they are loaded from my admin panel, the post icons appear the same when trying to post a new Blog. See attached.

I also noticed that ranking photo is also showing up on the blog comments page, I attached a photo of that too.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Recent Visitors and Total Profile Views do not have a way to be shown currently in vBulletin 5.

For rank photos make sure their URL is correct. A lot of things are now relative to the /core/ directory. However you can upload those images wherever you want. Without viewing the actual URL's, I can't say what is wrong.

Make sure your Post Icons have been added to /core/images/icons.

Finally to add Custom Profile Fields to your user profile, view this article: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=297041

Oh no, that is not good for me, the total profile views not being visible. Why would this change be made? Is it safe to assume that this is still info that is collected through vbulletin, but not displayed. I ask because i need to know if I should ask a professional to create some code to enable total profile views again?

The rank photos urls are correct, and uploaded into the core directory. Plus, they are showing up, as illustrated in my photos, but one rank is showing up twice, with same image address.

Icons are uploaded in the core directory, but I have attached a photo of the cpanel because they are located under core/images/icons. If they are in the core directory as you told me they should, what the problem be then?

For your icons and ranks, what are the image paths entered into the respective tools in the AdminCP?

User Ranks -> User Ranks Manager.

Post Icons -> Post Icons Manager.

The field to store profile visits is still in the database. However they don't appear to accrue on visits. You can create a bug report here:

I think you have figured out my problem for the icons. Do I need to go in and change the path to be http://www.agentlinkus.com/core/images/icons/icon13.png It looks like the "core" was overlooked?

The urls wouldn't have been updated on upgrade. If you had used images/icons/icon13.png, then they should have continued to work. Adding in the /core/ will fix this in your case.

As an aside, on some servers I have found that post icons and user ranks have required the full path (including core), rather than the relative path, in vB5.

This is not true of every site, but if you still have issues, try that.

I tried to add core to all of the icon path names in the admin panel. Then cleared cache, then looked. Icons still not showing. Do you think I need to add the entire url? including "public_html" to make it work? =(

They should look similar to this:

so the web path didn't work, so then I went back and changed back to what I started with images/icons/icon13.png, and poof it worked. I guess the system just wanted me to delete and re-enter. I have no idea why, but I am just glad it worked, LOL.
