    SEO for vBulletin 5

Where can I find additional info about SEO for vBulletin 5?
As far as I can see, the SEO for my forum isn't at its best..

Take very little notice of these sites that 'rate your SEO' - they are almost always trying to sell you some sort of SEO 'service'.

What actual issues are you experiencing? The days of being able to 'fool' search engines with SEO tricks are mostly gone. What will get you higher in search engine results, is decent content.

      • No h2 - I think all the thread titles should be h2.
      • Too many h1 tags - page links and module titles should be h2 and not h1, so that the h1 will focus on the site title.
      • "Your site lacks a "robots.txt" file".
      • "Your site lacks a sitemap file" - seriously? That's really weird that there is no sitemap for vBulletin..
      • "http://thehub.co.il and http://www.thehub.co.il/ should resolve to the same URL, but currently do not."
      That's everything bothered me.

vBulletin has a sitemap facility, you need to confirgure it and switch it on via the AdminCP.

You can make a robots.txt file if you want one, but what do you need it for?

The other stuff makes very little difference and is based on what mattered years ago.

h1 and h2 has little influence?! I really don't think so..

Thank you very much for the other details!
