You can't just copy the site and use it on another domain. You'll need to update the Site URL using tools.php before you can even access anything properly.

Thanks, I will try with tools.php

I have often done the following procedure in the past and it has always worked under vB 3.8.x, in another directory on the same domain name or in a directory on another domain name (I has many licenses since 2003):

      1. Create a new database2 with cPanel
      2. Install as usual a new forum2 with the database2
      3. Export the database1 of forum1 with cPanel/PHPMyAdmin
4.. Rename dbname1 to dbname2 (using Beyond Compare)
      5. Drop all the tables of database2 with PhpMyAdmin and import the database2 with the dbname2 inside the MySQL file.

      Login and change the urls.

And it has always worked without having to go through Tools.php

I will use tools.php if I am not able to login in admincp again.

      Best Regards

vBulletin 5 and vBulletin 3 are two very different pieces of software.
