    backup to new db

    I was deleted database , and made new one , and importing was with errors , after that I'm getting a lot of sql errors via email

    I tried to made an upgrade , but link are getting redirect to install.php .....

    Really I regret thatI tried to install this f*****g VB 5.2

    Why did you delete your database? That destroys your site. Nothing to do with 5.2.0, 5.2.0 does not delete datasbases.

    You cannot patch a database up like this. If you've deleted it, you only have two options:

    1. Restore from a backup.
    2. Start again from scratch.

      I have backup , but idk how to upgrade now ,,,

      why ?
      because there no one from support team who can help me to fix previous issue , now i GOT more of them, and If really I cannot restore everything back , Vbulletin uselless , there no support team in 1 day ,I lost all my data , and there is no more point to use vbulletin , if there is no possible to fix some issues or is no supporting team.... I fck my forum ,,,, I sent to you yestardy details , but no one help ,,,,

        You can check my link,,, my forum is fck , there upgrde script doesn't run at all ... is redirecting me to install.php . I made a new directory with forum and trying again to install , and same issue I got

          If it goes to install.php, it means the script cannot see the database.

          Are the credentials correct in /core/includes/config.php?

          Do you have a backup of the database from before you started trying to upgrade? It would be worth restoring that then running the upgrade script.

            Yea , everything is ok , I just changed there mysql to mysqli and i got here new issue :

            A database error occured, please check the database settings in the config file or enable debug mode for additional information.

                It needs to be mysqli, not mysql.

                      Mark you still here ? Any idea how to fix that issue , it was caused by vb 5.2 why do I need to wait or to make an ticket which they will tell me that my license is not for support ,,,,,Maybe there is possible to put old version back 5.10 and everything how was before?
